IMail E-mail FAQ's
Q: How
do I access my Web Based E-mail?
A: In
your internet browser type in http://mail.yoursite.com:8383,
from here you enter in your user name and password. Where yoursite.com
is the domain name of your website.
Q: I
keep getting a bad user name and password error when trying to get
my E-mail.
A: Depending on the web
hosting plan you might need to have your username your full E-mail
address i.e. username@yoursite.com.
Some E-mail programs can not have the @ sign in the username
field, if this occurs you can use one of the following characters
instead. !,#,$,%,^,&, or *
Q: Can
I configure another E-mail client to check my E-mail, such as Microsoft
Outlook, Outlook Express, etc..
A: Yes, when configuring E-mail clients use mail.yoursite.com
as the incoming mail server. The outgoing mail server should be
the mail server of your internet service provider.

Q:
I get a "Not local host, not a gateway" error when
trying to send E-mail through Lonetree, how do I correct this?
A: You
are probably trying to send E-mail through our mail server while
not connected to our network. All our mail servers will reject
email sent that does not originate from our network. To correct
this use the outgoing mail server of your internet provider.
Q: How
do I set up my mail so that I can "catch" all the mail
that goes to anyone@mydomain.com?
A: Add the Alias 'nobody' (without quotes) then
point the alias to the account you want all the mail to go. i.e.
webmaster@mydomain.com
