The Hits by File Type report
shows the number of hits for the specified report period broken down
by file type. Each file type may have one or more associated extensions.
For example, all hits for files with .htm and .html extensions are listed
together.
The Hits by File Type report helps you identify the
most popular types of files requested from your web server. You can
use this report to help you decide whether to outsource the hosting
of downloadable files.
