The Time Spent per Visit
report shows the average length of time that visitors spent at your
site during the specified report period.
The Time Spent per Visit report can help you gauge the
level of interest in your web site's content. For example, a decline
in the average length of a visit over a month or quarter may indicate
that you need to update your site in order to retain people's interest.
On the other hand, an increase in the time spent per
visit indicates that visitors are interested in the content of your
site.
Note: The time spent per
visit equals the total time (to the second) for the report period divided
by the number of visits for this period.
Note: The historic average
time spent per visit equals the total session time (to the second)
in the history of the site divided by the number of visits during this
time.
