The By U.S. State report shows
the number of visits from the United States during the specified report
period broken down by state.
The By U.S. State report lets you see where in the U.S.
your visitors come from. This report can help you determine whether
there is enough business in a certain state to justify opening a regional
office.
If a state suddenly jumps to the top of the list, it
may indicate that a marketing effort is generating interest, or that
someone is attempting to attack your server.
Note: LiveStats displays
states with visits in green: the brighter the green, the more visits.
States without visits are displayed in gray.

number of visits from a state and the percentage of the total, click
a state from the map.
